The report contains 13 recom m endations to the National Archives including: taking a strategic, active approach in pursuing electronic data from agen­ cies; placing greater em phasis on developing guidelines an d agreem ents w ith agencies to ensure provision of data in usable form; and developing a long-term strategy for netw orked access to databases held by the National Ar­ chives.
