He will also supervise and co­ ordinate library activities in other colleges of advanced education in Tasmania. Essential qualifications are an appropriate first degree, associateship of the Library Association of Aus­ tralia or its equivalent and wide experience in administration of academic libraries. A higher academic degree, a formal qualification in Edu­ cational Administration and experience in elec­ tronic storage and retrieval of information are desirable.
