Linda Jacobson is now keeper of the North 
Carolina Collection Gallery in the Louis Round 
Wilson Special Collections Library at the Univer-
sity of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Rebecca Kemp was named e-resources 
acquisitions librarian at the University of North 
Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Erin O’Meara is now electronic records 
archivist at the University of North Carolina-
Chapel Hill.

Jane Marie Pinzino has joined Florida State 
University Libraries as a humanities librarian in 
the Scholars Commons. 

Kendra Spahr has joined the reference 
services department as the business reference 
librarian at the University of Northern Colorado. 

Jenna Thomson has been appointed liaison 
librarian for Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Math-
ematics, and Physics at Simon Fraser University, 
in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Patricia Van Zandt has been appointed 
director of scholarly resources and research 
services at Southern Methodist University in 
Dallas, Texas.

Donna Cohen, 66, retired library director at 
Rollins College, has died. 

David Nolfi, health sciences librarian at 
Duquesne University’s Gumberg Library, re-

cently became distin-
guished member in the 
Academy of Health In-
formation Professionals. 
The organization is the 
Medical Library Associa-
tion’s peer-reviewed pro-
fessional development 
and career recognition 
program. Members of the 

academy are credentialed as health informa-
tion professionals by demonstrating their aca-
demic preparation, professional experience, 
and professional accomplishments. The acade-
my recognizes the personal investment of time 
and effort required for exemplary professional 
performance and for contributions to the asso-
ciation and to medical librarianship as a whole.

Florida State University Libraries as complex
