 A BILL 
 
 To authorize the employment of Instructors for the Act'mg Midshiymen of 
 live Navif. and to regulate their nink and yaij. 
 
 1. The Congress of the Confederate States of America do enact, 
 
 2 That the Secretary of the Navy be and lie is hereby authorized 
 
 3 to employ six assistant professors for the acting midshipmen of 
 
 4 the navy, v^^ho shall have the rank and pay of first lieutenants 
 '» ill the navv, and be subject to the rules and regulations ihereof.
