RALEIGH: SUNDAY SCHOOL & PUBLICATION BOARD. i860. *fr* PREFACE. The great need for a suitable collection of Sabbath School Hymns first led to the compi- lation of this little volume about three years* ago. The favorable manner in which it ha& been received calls for the publications of this, the fourth edition. • * In compiling the book care has been taken to select such hymns as are in general use, and adapted to all Sabbath School occasions. Most of the hymns will be found set to music in the " Sabbath School bell," published by Horace Waters, New York. Several additional Hymns have been included in this edition. That this little offering may prove acceptable to all the dear children who love to sing " the sweet songs of Zion " is the sincere wish of Tip COMPILER Baleigh, K C., Marcli, 1886..
