Such direc- tories have been issued every few years since. This directory supplements the basic directory of 1949, National Associa- tions of the United States, now out of print. A new basic directory is in prepara- tion. This directory was prepared by Jay Judkins, Chief of the Trade Association Division, with the assistance of Arthur L. Foulger under the direction of John C. Green, Director, Office of Technical Services. Aid of various kinds was fur- nished by the American Society of Association Executives, Chamber of Com- merce of the United States, National Association of Manufacturers, National Academy of Sciences— National Research Council, and other leading centers of information.
