[29th July 1814.] Moil Gracious Sovereign, WHEREAS His Royal Highnefs the Prince Regent acting in the Name and on the Behalf of Your Majefty, by His moil Gracious Meflage to Your Majefty’s faithful Commons, hath been pleafed to declare, That having taken into Coniideration the diftin-guifhed Services performed by Lieutenant General Stapleton Lord Combermere, in the Courfe of the War in Portugal and Spain ; and being deiirous of bellowing on the faid Lord Combermere a fignal Mark of His Favour, and for this Purpofe to give and grant unto the faid Lord Combermere, and the Two next fucceeding Heirs Male of his Body, to whom the Title of Baron Combermere ihall defcend, a nett Annuity of Two thoufand Pounds, recommended to Your faithful Commons to coniider of a proper Method of enabling Your Majefty to grant the fame : Now, we Your Majefty's moil dutiful and loyal Subjects, the Commons of the United Kingdom in Parliament aflembled, duly coniidering Your Majefty’s moil Gracious Intention, do moil humbly befeech Your Majefty that it may be enacted; and be it enacted by the King’s moil Excellent Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament aflembled, and by the Authority of the fame, rI hat One Annuity or yeanly Rent or Sum of Two thoufand An Annuity Pounds of lawful Money ot Great Britain, ihall be ifluing and payable of 2000I. per 15 Z IO out Annum fet- ?7S S4°GE0RGII III.
